South Ayrshire Access to Sport

South Ayrshire Access to Sport was established in September 1999. Our aims are to encourage and promote sport and physical recreation, enhance health and wellbeing and offer pathways to sporting excellence for adults and children with disabilities.

Aims and Objectives

  • Aim to encourage and promote sport and physical recreation for adults and children with disabilities living within South Ayrshire.
  • To encourage integration and access to sporting opportunities, to seek to improve the quality of life and health and fitness of people with disabilities through participation sport and recreational activities.
  • Access to specialist equipment.
  • Information on clubs etc.
  • Disability sport grants to disabled athletes.
